У команды "Сверхъестественного" за плечами почти 8 лет съемок, которые проходят в Ванкувере, Канада. В качестве приглашенных актеров и актрис в сериале перебывало множество американских и канадских актеров. Но... скажите, у вас тоже бывало ощущение, что вы уже где-то видели того или иного актера в предыдущих сериях? И это не наваждение - на съемки иногда приглашают одних и тех же мастеров эпизода. Тут возможны разные причины, например, экономия, ведь чаще всего это более "дешевые" канадские актеры, опять же, продюсеры убивают двух зайцев, потому что, снимая сериал в Канаде, они обязаны приглашать определенный процент канадских актеров. Да и работать со старыми знакомыми гораздо приятнее, согласитесь.

Last week’s pilot of NBC’s “Jekyll and Hyde” drama Do No Harm premiered to disastrously low ratings. “Do No Harm’s” performance got the folks at www.scottfeinberg.com thinking: What are some of the best pilots in recent memory? Here’s a list of the 10 best pilots of the past decade:

Introducing a premise that is truly legendary, How I Met Your Mother opens in the year 2030, with a father (voice by Bob Saget) beginning to tell his children about how he, as the title may suggest, met their mother.
Flash to 2005: Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) meets the woman of his dreams, Robin Scherbatsky (Cobie Smulders), and his two best friends, Marshall Eriksen (Jason Segel) and Lily Aldrin (Alyson Hannigan) get engaged.
Ted falls head-over-heels for Robin, but announces to his children that this is the sub-plot of how he met their “Aunt Robin,” giving the show a breath of fresh air and a unique premise.
This is also the moment the world is introduced to the womanizing Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) and his vast collection of tailored suits and enormous little black book.

Amy to attend ‘Much Ado’ US Premiere.

"Much Ado About Nothing" shall have it’s US Premiere at the SXSW Film Festival on March 9, 2013 — and according to the schedule, Amy & the rest of the cast, along with Joss Whedon, shall be attending! Hopefully, we’ll get to see some pics from this event.
What’s the next step after directing one of the biggest films of the year? Gather some of your favorite actor friends in your home to film a contemporary take on a Shakespeare classic! Directly following the SXSW US Premiere of Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing, join cast members Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Nathan Fillion, Clark Gregg, and the director himself as they discuss the unconventional process of shooting the film in 12(!) days and the challenges and excitement of bringing Shakespeare to the screen for a modern audience.
Also, according to the press release by the Glasgow Film Festival, "Much Ado About Nothing" shall be on general release in UK theaters from June 14, 2013.

Eliza Dushku joins The Saint remake.

Roger Moore is to co-produce a pilot for The Saint remake, starring Hunted’s Adam Rayner, and Dollhouse’s Eliza Dushku…
The last two months alone have been witness to plans for new versions of Jumanji, Police Academy, The Brady Bunch, Short Circuit, Video-flipping-drome… And now, The Saint (do do-loo do doo-looo), the Roger Moore-starring sixties show based on the novels of Leslie Charteris is the latest to be dusted off and given a shiny new iteration.
A pilot is in the works for a revamped version of the Simon Templar stories (no doubt because the nineties Val Kilmer version was so well-received…), starring Hunted’s Adam Rayner in the title role, with Eliza Dushku providing love interest and we assume, running and fighting support, as Patricia Holm.
The pilot’s screenplay is coming from Heroes and Alias writer, Jesse Alexander, while The Expendables 2 and The Mechanic’s Simon West will be calling the shots.

Джули Бенц о своей новой роли в сериале «Defiance».

Одно из лучших качеств нового сериала это то, что он одновременно и сериал и видеоигра.
Джули Бенц: Да, это впервые, раньше такого не делали, чтобы сразу был и сериал и видеоигра. Это по-настоящему здорово, игра стартует за две недели до сериала и все, что будет происходить в игре, будет переноситься на экран. И наоборот.

Что в сюжете привлекло вас как актрису?
Джули Бенц: Ну, сценарий весьма неплох, и я искала сильный женский характер. Чем старше становишься, тем труднее найти то, что действительно хочется сыграть. Большенство сценариев которые мне присылают, это образы матери, жены или жертвы. Чтобы найти героиню, которая бы ассоциировалась с властью, чтобы развитие персонажа было динамичным, это встречается редко. Это своего рода рывок для меня.

Ваша героиня Аманда представляет власть, она ведь мэр города в Defiance?
Джули Бенц: Да, недавно назначенный мэр, она немного смущена всем этим. Она не сказать чтобы готова принять на себя бразды правления. Она была назначена, потому что старый мэр заболел, так что она взяла на себя эту роль, пока остальные думают кого выбрать. Аманда идеалист, действительно верит в то, что люди и инопланетяне могут жить в мире. И в то же время она жесткий человек.

Удивительно. Вы и правда думаете об этом даже сейчас?
Джули Бенц: Я каждый день об этом думаю! Как для актрисы, это может стать в некотором роде уникальной возможностью и это очень здорово.

Как вы переживаете момент, когда роль подходит к концу? Было трудно отпустить Риту Морган, когда по сюжету она умерла?
Джули Бенц: Я ее оплакала, все это было так неожиданно для меня, действительно неожиданно. Я узнала об этом перед тем как получила сцкенарий. И мне стало грустно, потоум что она никогда уже не вернется.Она была человеком и она умерла, и я никогда не смог сыграть ее снова. Все мои героини, которых я играла в sci-fi жанре, имели сверхъестественные способности, так что если они умирали, это еще не означало что они не вернутся. Так что вот такой странный траур мне пришлось пережить.

Джосс Уэдон в интервью MTV News рассказал, что его новое шоу S.H.I.E.L.D. будет иметь очень человеческую составляющую. «Мы должны привнести зрелищность, ведь это история о людях на грани великих приключений. Уэдон подтвердил, что главные шоу герои - агенты шпионской организации SHIELD - не будут иметь никаких особых способностей. «У этих людей миссия, будет эффектность, зрелищность, все, что нужно для научно-фантастического рассказа - но все будет по-человечески».

Сериал "Вones" продлен на 9 сезон!

Один и самых успехных сериалов последних лет, сохранивший динамику сюжета и снискавший зритльскую преданность, "Кости" продлен на девятый сезон. По словам Харта Хэнсона он был почти уверен в этом. "Мы знаем что это конец сезона, но мы также знаем, что это может окзаться концом сериала, поэтому снимаем так, что можем закончить на этом моменте, но это означает всегда иметь два финала в запасе". Сегодня же канад FOX подтвердил, что в 2013-2014 году Бреннан и Бут от поклонников никуда не денутся.

Когда дело доходит до воспоминаний о Баффи, Джосс Уэдон с грустью вспоминает, что не смог воплотить всего что задумывал. Он очень хотел бы снять анимационный фильм о приключениях истребительницы и вложить в него все то, чего нельзя было показать в сериале. А еще, на вопрос кого "убивать" было труднее всего, Джосс отвечает, что это конечно мама Баффи Джойс Саммерc.

Jessica Alba loves to bring her daughters to work.

Jessica Alba is slowing down her acting to career to focus more on being a mother of two.
“I used to work basically 11 and a half months out of the year on location, and now I don’t,” the actress, 31, explained recently at the Escape from Planet Earth press junket in Los Angeles. “I’m really much more picky with the roles that I take.”
When she is working — whether on set or at The Honest Company office — Alba usually comes with a mini-entourage: her daughters Honor Marie, 4½, and Haven Garner, 18 months.
“I bring them with me,” she explains. “[Honor is usually] playing in the kids’ corner and running amuck bothering everyone, throwing paper airplanes at their desks — but they love it!”
While Honor certainly knows how to have a good time when she accompanies Mom to work, she doesn’t fully grasp what exactly it is Alba does for a living.
“To her, Mommy going to work is her sitting in a trailer and me [filming], or it’s me at my office,” notes Alba. “I think she thinks it’s all my job. She doesn’t know the difference!”

Jessica Alba is one busy woman. This year alone she’s starring in both Escape From Planet Earth (out in February), and in Sin City 2 (projected to come out in October). She also just published a book, The Honest Life, which was excerpted in this month’s issue of Women’s Health. And she is co-owner of The Honest Company, an online retailer that sells non-toxic family products. Not to mention: wife, mother of two, fashion icon. All around inspiration.
Women’s Health had the opportunity to speak with Jessica about what she’s been up to. Below is the Q&A, edited for space.

Tell us about The Honest Company.
The concept came when I was pregnant with my first daughter, and I couldn’t find a brand that I could trust, and there are companies out there that are doing good things and they have better practices than conventional brands. As far as one brand that did it well across the board, though, it just didn’t exist. And I felt like it’s easier for families to have one brand out there that they know and can trust to have higher quality products without toxic chemicals.

How has becoming a mom changed the way you think?
Not that I used to be completely selfish, but there is certainly a selfishness that you innately have when you don’t have to think about anyone but yourself. But when there’s someone else affected by your actions, who exists because you chose to put them here, it just makes you think twice about everything.

You’ve got so much on your plate. How do you manage to do it all?
Prior to having kids, my priorities were in building my career—it was all about my career, really. It was kind of my everything. I didn’t have a lot of balance. I would often not have birthdays or holidays, or spend any time, like my whole life just revolved generally around work. And now my priorities lie in my family and in my friends, and I’ve been able since I took some time off with my first, to cultivate relationships that I never had before, and friendships. I’m a better daughter now, and a better sister.

What are some of your stay-sane tricks? You’re so busy and active—how do you keep it together?
You know, spending time with my kids kind of does take all the stress away, weirdly. I’m in the moment with them. They make me so happy, they’re pure joy. I know they’re not going to be little forever, so I really soak up as much as I possibly can with them. That’s kind of how I de-stress.

Do you have a favorite workout or type of exercise?
I like doing dance classes. That’s fun. Like hip hop class, mixed with like core pilates-type exercises.
And when I’m in New York, I like to do some spinning classes, group classes, Fly Wheels is a place I like to go. And sometimes I do sprint intervals just because I hate working out. Anything where I have to do something but I can get my mind off of doing it, that’s so much better for me than anything that’s repetitive. Or the music has to be loud and I have to be moving.

You’ve become a total fashion icon. Do you have any fashion icons that YOU look up to?
I’ve always loved Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelley, because they’re timeless and chic. And I love Kate Moss, because she’s rock n roll, and I’m a bit of a nerd about it. Daria, the cartoon character on TV, is also one of my fashion icons.
