I love it when a plan comes together
Megan Fox has not been confirmed for the new feature-length film reboot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, it has emerged.
Producer Roy Lee has dimissed speculation about the Transformers star playing the lead role as the teenaged vigilante, according to Perez Hilton.
He said: “The rumours of Megan Fox being involved with Buffy are just rumours.
“As with any film project with a female lead under the age of 30, Megan is the actress that most studios want so it is no surprise her name is mentioned. While I think she would be great for our project, we are still in the early stages of developing the sсript.”
The character of Buffy was previously played by Kristy Swanson in the 1992 original movie, and Sarah Michelle Gellar in the following television series, which ran from 1997 to 2003.
